CarpMate is an interactive iPhone application designed for carp anglers
by carp anglers. Developed and coded from scratch, CarpMate brings
a reliable, professional and feature rich catch log to the bankside.

CarpMate Album

The album feature allows users to view all of their captures in a sorted, interactive way, much the same as the native photo’s app on the iPhone. However, the photographs are sortable and can be arranged by venue, size, date and type. Photographs can quickly be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Email or SMS at the click of a button.

CarpMate Weather

CarpMate includes a detailed weather forecasting facility allowing users to quickly determine trends in weather and fish accordingly. The forecast is tailored to suit carp anglers requirements with focus on temperature, pressure, cloud cover and sunset/rise times. When adding a record users may automatically save current weather conditions with the click of a button.

CarpMate Statistics

CarpMate interrogates your records and displays statistics sorted by venue. Users can now see the following detailed informative statistics at the click of a button.

-Biggest & Smallest Carp
-Total Weight
-Average Weight
-Number of Fish by Month
-Number of Fish by Hour

CarpMate Map View

Not only does CarpMate record the capture details it also utilizes the iPhone’s built in GPS capability to log catch locations. Once saved, the catch locations may be overlaid on a map highlighting the successful swims at any venue. The location is also manually editable, allowing anglers to save the specific location in the lake where the fish was hooked.

CarpMate Camera

The built in, recoded camera function ensures that photographs are perfect every time. The camera features custom overlays that allow even a novice user to frame the fish correctly. A night mode activates your iPhone’s light to enable photographs to be taken easily and accurately in the dark. CarpMate Camera is simple to use allowing anyone to capture the perfectly framed shot every time. Photographs taken using the CarpMate Camera are automatically filed in a CarpMate album within your iPhone for easy access at all times.
